PDF to Pages + App Reviews
Happy & Satisfied
Very satisfied!!! Thank you
Needed to convert PDF files and forms I downloaded from the internet to edit and add text. Took the gamble on a new, just released app and am glad I did. I have already converted 5 PDF files to .pages files and everything worked well and it was super easy (pic a file and hit the “convert” button, done). So far so good. If you need a simple app (I don’t yet know how detailed this app gets) this works! I am running OS X 10.9.5 on a Late 2010 MacBook Air
This App does not even have an image rotate feature to enable landscaped pdfs / scans to be converted. It lacks too many features to be useful and has not even been updated beyond iWork09 format.
The good news is that the application quickly converts one or multiple PDF files to a Pages format. The bad news is that the text contains so many extra blanks scrattered throughout that it requires editing the whole document to remove them. I was also hoping that converting multiple PDF files would append them into one Pages document. The app does not do this. You receive one Pages document for each PDF you are converting. It seems to me that these limitations should be included in the product description prior to paying for the license fee to find out the program will not meet your needs.
Nope
Tried to use this for scholarships. Either I am not smart enough or this does not work for me. Guess I should just buy the $40 software.
I liked it so much I decided that it was worth buying the rest of the collection of converters via the In-App Purchase. We get a lot of documents that people convert to PDF. We convert them leaving the formatting and saving us time and therefore money. Can’t live without it definitely applies to this group of apps. Note: If you are trying to OCR something nto text that is not the function this app is made for. We have ran into those as well. Get PDF Pen Pro for that. This converts documents that used to be Word, Pages, Excel, etc before being PDF docs.
Unbelievable
This program is just perfectly simple and exact.
This is a great app
This has saved me tons of time. I love this app!
Waste of Money
Wanted to convert a .pdf into a .pages for the sole purpose of being able to edit the content of the .pdf file. All this app does is paste a picture of the content into pages which could easily be done without the app. Not sure why anyone would ever want to do that. So… If you’re hoping to purchase something that will allow you to edit the content of a .pdf file… It’s not this. Feel like I just threw away $10.
Great for mass conversion of PDFs to Text
Couldn’t be more pleased at the accuracy and speed of converting complex PDFs to plain text documents to harvest the information previously locked away in PDFs. Export is fast and you can select a full folder of documents and have the app export them all. If that is what you need to do - this is the best solution - pure & simple.
Don’t buy this!
I purchased this app hoping to convert some .pdf into Pages into order to edit some ideas. All this app does is place a .pdf image into pages. This is something you can do by just dragging a .pdf document into pages. It doesn’t actually read and export the text so you can work with it. Really disapointed.
Bad app
This converter seems to use the same engine as a number of other converters. EXTREMELY slow, is ignorant of the Mac interface and the conversion is awful...

Creates fast documents from PDF files.

Difficult to prepare docs for scannning
